Kitchen Reveal: Before and After

September 21, 2011 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 19 Comments

The kitchen reveal! Finally! I won’t go into the gory details of what took so long( weather, contractors, etc)  but I will tell you that I am excited to be finished. I like to live a clean ordered life and I do not like living in a construction zone, call me high maintenance but that is the way I am.

AFTER KITCHEN

As I mentioned before,  we did not do a complete remodel and gut job, as this is not our forever home, all we wanted to do was to update the kitchen and freshen it up. That said, we did have the cabinets painted, the island top custom made in African mahogany, new granite in leather finish, subway tile, under mount sink, new faucet, floors refinished, and a few other cosmetic things. For as long as this has taken we could have ripped the entire room out and started over. No matter, it is finished and exactly as I envisioned.

Here are a few Before photos.

    My darling friend,

I am so sorry to have missed the previous post and this one; my early mornings just don't seem to be allowing me to even visit all of you wonderful friends. BUT HERE I AM, and what a glorious transformation here….it is really stunning. NOW you are confirming to me that my wood cabinets in my vintage kitchen would look wonderful in GRAY with my black granite….THIS IS WONDERFUL and are you lovin' it??????????

    MANY CONGRATULATIONS ON ACCOMPLISHING THIS!!!

    Much love, Anita
