White Subway Tile Kitchen

September 20, 2011 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 7 Comments

After!

Life at our house has been crazy, as I am sure it is at many others, with hurricanes, work, guests, etc. Our tile finally was installed last Wednesday! I was so excited and would have written a post about the finished kitchen but I had a little accident.

On Thursday as I was getting some things ready for weekend guests, and working at the same time I guess I was distracted because I fell down the stairs. I thought I broke my leg, and quite frankly while I laid in a heap crying all I could think about was how much I had to get done.

After a trip to the emergency room, thank God it was not broken, I have deep tissue bruising on my tibia. So, as I was sent home and told not to walk for a few days, keep the leg elevated and to rest, I really did not have time to do much blogging.  Anyway, my guests are gone, and tomorrow I will post my before and after kitchen.

Have a great day! Enjoy Fall!!

Oh dear Elizabeth… your fall sounds really painful! I can appreciate the feeling of not having time to be unwell but hope you are on the mend.

I LOVE your new kitchen. You must love waking up to a cup of coffee every morning! I had the same white tiles in a similar kitchen and loved the look.

Well done you (except for the leg)…take care and get well soon.

I can smell the coffee from here!

Elizabeth, this looks sooo gorgeous! So classic, this is truly a timeless look and one of my faves! I am so sorry about your fall, believe it or not I had a bad fall yesterday too! Mine didn't require a trip to the hospital though just a lot of black and blues. So glad there are no broken bones, hope you are feeling much better today!
BTW Your comment yesterday was so incredibly sweet and generous..it put a great big smile on my face! Thank you so very much for making my day:)

Oh dear Elizabeth! I am so glad you did not break your leg, how scary for you. Make sure you stay off that leg and rest. I am sending healing hugs your way.
    Love the white kitchen!
