Sunday…Super Bowl

“Sunday is the golden clasp that binds together the volume of the week”

Henry Wadsworth LoLongfellow

Hello, happy Sunday! I hope you are having a great weekend, and that you have found a few minutes to enjoy yourself and relax. Funny how the weekends are supposed to be relaxing and sometimes you find yourself working harder and becoming more tired than during the week. I have baked, and done some “Spring” cleaning at my mother’s and tomorrow we are on to the sewing projects!

Yesterday, I saw a crocus poking it’s little green head out of the soil in Wisconsin in February!  It is a very strange winter. I hope my friends in Europe that you are keeping warm, and those of you that wanted snow got a few inches. To my friends in Denver, I hope that you have dug yourself out of the snow from this past week.

Today is Super Bowl Sunday, enjoy the game if you are watching! And do come and tell me what yummy things you made if you are having a party or what delicious things you ate at the parties you went to. ! I am always looking for a new dip or appetizer recipe. As I said Friday, I will be watching the Bowl for the commercials until Downton Abbey comes on.

Enjoy your Sunday my friends.

I love the image of the crocus! The promise of spring. I may go see "Hugo" today, come home and watch the Super Bowl, but I am most excited about tonight's episode of "Downton Abbey"! Have a wonderful day! My daughter is in Wisconsin today visiting a friend, your neck of the woods!

DEAREST!!!!!!!!!! Just before Irina comes in an hour, I came to see you visited and now to see you have a new post! DO NOT TELL ME YOU ARE ALREADY SEEING BUDS POPPING UP???? But that shouldn't be surprising, as here, we have had WARM enough temps to make any left over ice melt! What a crazy season. I am bushed. I cleaned yesterday, entertained, but I am exhilarated to see OUR friend Irina. Now to go prepare for her! LOVE TO YOU and I will give her an extra tight hug for you! Anita

Hello dear girl! I see Anita has visited, and how lucky is she to have Irina visit.
We are girding our loins here for the midnight start of the Superbowl. In the absence of any of our fave teams, we will be supporting NE. Go Patriots!
    Have a wonderful Sunday.
We did get a dusting of snow, but it's already gone, washed away by the rain 🙂
    Much Love
