Friday, oh I love you! Because it was a short week I feel like I have been running on a hamster wheel and not getting much done. I am going to spend the weekend trying to catch up on the things I did not get done because I was away last weekend, and trying to watch a little of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations.

I love the Queen and am excited to see some of the tributes to her.

The Jubilee Celebrations are both large and small, from neighborhoods gathering together to celebrate, to hundreds of thousands flocking to the city, and of course lots of coverage on the TV.

Good morning my dear friend! It feels so strange to not "see" you around, but like me, you have GOT to be so busy. Sending you a hug to let you know you are SPECIAL! Anita
I would love to catch some of it, love all the pomp and circumstance, its so beautiful and she looks fabulous, doesn't she!
Hope you have a great weekend Elizabeth, I know that hamster wheel quite well and I need to get off! This weekend thankfully is fairly low key, lacrosse tourn. for son and other than that……hopefully its a lot of just hanging around with little schedule!
It'll be fun to see some of it and celebrate her life. Other then that nothing planned here bbecause I think the weather is going to wash out my gardening plans.
Enjoy your weekend!

We had a fabulous day at my daughter's school yesterday, and I've just seen a super photo of Buckingham Palace, lit up with a huge Union Jack. It is raining here and I don't think my little girl will see much if we try to watch the flotilla in central London, so like you we'll be watching the BBC tomorrow, should be fun.
Oh yes, I wish you were here, one of our local restaurants was celebrating the Jubille by giving a free glass of f wine to customers who are the Queen's namesakes, Elizabeth!
I love all the excitement over the Queen's birthday! Such a wonderful time!
happy weekend!
