London 2012 Olympic Fever

August 1, 2012 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 3 Comments

I do not know about you but I am definitely suffering from Olympic Fever. I have the events on from the minute I wake up until the coverage ends at midnight. Thankfully I work from home.

Apparently, I am not the only one; I heard yesterday on the news that $450 million dollars will be lost by American Companies in employee productivity because they are either watching coverage on their computers or checking for information online.

I love everything about the Olympics, the gymnastics, the skeet shooting, the rowing, the equestrian events, and most especially the swimming. Seriously, how can you not be excited about swimming and Michael Phelps making Olympic history? Or about Ye Shiwen, the Chinese swimmer who posted a faster swim in the 400 meter medley than Ryan Lochtes?

Congratulations Michael Phelps, the GREATEST OLYMPIAN ever! That is quite an achievement and with three more events to swim he might even make this record seem even bigger. I think that it will take another 48 years if not longer for this new record to be topped.

Are you watching the Olympics? Do you have a favorite event? I would love to hear.

Have a great day! Enjoy!
