Good morning! I love this time of the year, it is my excuse to sit home on weekends and at night with a cup of cocoa and a good movie.

Although there are many, wonderful movies, these are the ones that I find myself watching over and over.

I honestly do not know what I did at the holidays before I watched Elf every night. I seriously never get tired of it and I laugh each and every time I watch it.

Of course I always love the classics too, they remind me of so many happy weekends baking, drinking cocoa and spending time with my grandparents having sleepovers with my siblings.

And I will not lie, I do enjoy the kids movies too.

Or do you just have them on in the back round for the music and the sounds of the season?

I hope that you are enjoying my Christmas entertainment posts this week. I am always interested in learning your favorites, then perhaps I will find some new things too.

As for Rudolph, I consider the Rankin Bass TV productions so they do not count for movies, but they are still favorites, my siblings and I LOVED them and still do.

Have a great day!

What a great selection, something for everyone, and of course there's my other Christmassy favourite, (I have copies of all three film versions) as well as the book, Little Woman, I just love the opening.
Thanks for the link to the shop, I was having a few problems with my email, but it's all sorted now, you are very kind.

You picked some wonderful classics….love watching movies throughout the season, its the best time for downtime with family, comfort foods and movies and game playing!! Cannot wait:)
Good morning darling Elizabeth! OK, there are several movies on this list that I have seen over and over and still look forward to viewing every year. Then there are new ones to me that I must investigate! Movie watching is a huge part of our celebration for it is usually just US during this time of year, sitting under a huge comforter. But this year, our winter is warm and we are invited to a friend's home for dinner. Things change, but for the memories you once had, this time of year is so precious. Sending you wishes for a lovely day! Anita
GREAT list! There are two here that I haven't seen. Thanks for sharing 🙂 I'll pass this list on to my college kids ~ they usually choose the movies for the season 🙂

Elizabeth, I love "White Christmas" with Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney!
Elizabeth, I tend to lean toward the classic, "Miracle on 34th Street" and "It's a Wonderful Life". I believe someone else mentioned, "Little Women"; also a wonderful movie to watch during the Christmas season. Bonnie
