Good morning! How are you? Did you have a wonderful Christmas? Mine was great, busy, sometimes wild, but a lot of fun.
I am worn out, to say the least. My husband and I and our dog are a pretty low key family of three. But this past week and for several more days we have an extra dog, a tween, two kids under 5, and six additional adults in the house. To say that things are a little crazy would be a massive understatement.
We have logged miles and miles walking the beach and the neighborhood, sung a ton of Christmas carols, unwrapped more presents than we can count and consumed more calories than I can even say.
I am taking a few days to enjoy my family and to squeeze little more out of our Christmas adventures.

I hope that you have a wonderful week! I would love to hear about your Christmas fun, what did you do, and eat and were you getting the last of the Christmas bargains?

We had a very simple, quick but lovely Christmas my dear. Now I am trying to finish up that paper dress and get it out of my hair! WISHING YOU a prolonged Christmas wish and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Anita
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your holiday Elizabeth. Like you we're a family of three with Dylan dog and low key but right now our home is overflowing with an additional seven adults and two dogs. I think the biggest hits concerning food would be the beef tenderloin, French potatoes and pear puffed almond tart I made, at least for me. I need a few days rest after all this merry making and months of work but that won't come for a few more days. We're still celebrating here and to top it off we're getting a wonderful snow storm right now…time for snowmen!

So happy you had such a wonderful time and yes, ours was full of fun, laughter, lots of family and calories galore. Wishing you every happiness in the new year and enjoy a little more time…
Sounds good to me! Yes, we too are keeping it low key (not totally by choice, husband is in bed with flu..ugh)! But the downtime and not HAVING to do anything is quite nice for a change!
I cooked and cooked and cooked, but it was all worth it, it brought our family together and kept us all in the kitchen (even after hours)! Glad yours was wonderful…enjoy these low key days!
