Good morning! Can you believe it is almost Spring? I am finding it hard to believe quite honestly; in one day the weather dropped 35 degrees here, the sunny skies turned grey and ugly and it has been raining non-stop.

As I mentioned yesterday I have been searching for some breakfast ideas for the upcoming holidays. Eggs and bacon and those sorts of things are easy but I wanted something that I could make ahead and have for people who do not like typical breakfast food.

Are you a coffee cake fan? Do you prefer fruit filled, struesel topped or something else? Typically I go for traditional cinnamon struesel, but I am open to trying something new like perhaps the chocolate chip coffee cake below.

Out of all of them, I like the look of your two cakes best! I wish I had a real oven. As we are limited for space on board we only have a micro/convection combo. Not good for baking cakes I'm afraid. It's a shame, I am such a cake lover and you have some wonderful recipes on your two blogs.
Hope you are having a good week my friend!

This is not a diet friendly post:) But I came over to "indulge" without really having to eat one of my favorite weaknesses….lol. It was worth it!

You are killing me, Elizabeth!! Every single picture looks so delicious! I read this post just as I woke up this morning and all I wanted to do was run downstairs and bake coffee cake (or to a bakery to buy some). Luckily, I smartened up and yogurt and berries instead! Any of these would be perfect for Easter, although the one that looked best to me was your Cinnamon Cream Cheese cake.
Have a great day!! xoxox
