Good morning! Sorry to have been AWOL for the last two days, I have been traveling and for whatever reason my scheduled posts did not post.
I am happy to be home, although I love to travel, there is no place like home. This week many of my favorite posts were about traveling or were written by bloggers from around the world.
All eyes have been on Rome this week for the election of the new Pope, so if you would like to spend A Perfect Day in Rome visit Sandy at You May be Wandering. All week she has featured wonderful things about Rome and in this particular post she profiles her favorite place to have a cappuccino, a walking food tour, a visit to the Galleria Borghese, an after hours tour of the Vatican and finally dinner. The entire post is a feast for the eyes and a wealth of knowledge for your next trip to Rome.

If you are an Anglophile, a lover of history and learning new things than you will enjoy The Cloth Shed. Three years ago Julie and her husband bought an old cottage in Northumberland, and after working with a historian have come to the conclusion that they in fact purchased a bastle house. Do you know what that is? Neither did I, until I read her fascinating post. Follow this link to the The Cloth Shed to find out more.
Or how about a Picnic at the End of the World, a visual feast for the eyes written by Heather of Lost in Arles in which she shares a beautiful day at a secret beach in Provence.
What makes you happy? Family, friends, art, your work or something as simple as a good book and a cup of tea? This week Carla wrote an honest, heartfelt and beautiful post about searching for happiness and fulfillment at Carla Loves Photography.
Jeanne at Collage of Life wrote a wonderful post about Tricia Rose who is an inspiring, beautiful and talented woman. Tricia had a dream and a vision and she not only lives it but also created a successful business out of it at the same time.
