Paris: Flea Market Style. A Book Give Away!

March 9, 2013 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 21 Comments

Paris is my favorite city in the world, it is beautiful, romantic, has the best eclairs in the world, and so much more.

My first visit to Paris was at the age of 16, when everything was new, exciting, beautiful and full of adventure. Thirty years later I still feel the same; I never tire of my yearly visits. I continue to discover new streets, restaurants, shops, and bakeries, as well as to see old friends and to make new ones.

I know that many of you are fans of Claudia Strasser from both the book and the blog The Paris Apartment. After many years, she has released a new book and I am so excited to announce that I am being given one copy to give away. Paris: Flea Market Style was released just a few weeks ago and is going on its second printing!

In addition to her fabulous blog and books, Claudia is also available to take you shopping in Paris! I can only imagine the fabulous finds one would make while shopping with an expert at the great flea markets. If you should happen to find something special, Claudia will help you with shipping it home as well. Can it get any better? OK, a better exchange rate would help, but aside from that.

If you are not planning a trip to Paris anytime soon and would like to shop from Claudia’s personal finds, from the comfort of your own home you are in luck. This weekend on One Kings Lane you can shop The Paris Apartment and see all of Claudia’s new finds from the Paris markets. The sale starts tomorrow at 11:00 EST.

I will make it easy, just leave a comment here or on my Facebook page and I will pick a winner next week.

I hope you have a great weekend!

Bonjour ma belle! Alors, donné que tu vas à Paris chaque année, tu dois parler français? Je n'ai jamais pensé à cette idée!

I must check out Claudia's book! Looks like my sort of décor love.

    Have an outstanding weekend! Anita

Thanks for the intro…going to go visit her, would love to go to Paris with a shopper in the know by my side (not sure my husband would share the same enthusiasm) lol. We all know shopping is taken to a whole new level when in Paris. Even a simple glass antique pitcher becomes a work of art:)

Alas, I've only visited Paris in my dreams. My bucket list beckons but life just gets in the way. I guess I can't complain too much, though. I've spent almost 14 years living in South America, uprooting the kids whenever my husband's company said "it's time to move again." I've missed the sights of Paris, but we've been fortunate to visit many South American treasures.
    Very generous of you.

This is how I feel tonight, as if I am seeing life This is how I feel tonight, as if I am seeing life through the blur of tears and sorrow. Sunday night my friend of 34 years lost her husband of 36 years, because of Covid he did not get to meet or hold his newborn grandson. Then just an hour ago we received a call that my husbands best friend died of a massive heart attack this morning. Sometimes life just knocks you to your knees and all you can do is pray for the loved ones you’ve lost, cherish their memories and let your time with them sustain you until you meet again. Then you ask God for the strength to get up and move forward. #life #loss #givemestrength #givemestrengthlord #pray
