Rainy days don’t get me down…

May 11, 2013 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 8 Comments

Good morning! I hope that you had a good week and have interesting, exciting, relaxing plans for the weekend.

Around here it is going to be similar to many other rainy weekends, a lot of reading and a little baking. Unlike many people I enjoy rainy days, it gives me an excuse to slow down, relax, and not leave the house.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy your Mother’s Day celebrations if you are a mom or are celebrating with your mom.

Good morning! I actually love rainy days, not too many of them of course but every now and then a good rainy day is the perfect excuse to stay in and just be home and enjoy the downtime. Its supposed to rain here too and I am kind of looking forward to it, that way I dont' feel so compelled to have to be out doing things! Enjoy….

As dear Anita says, we are in the 50's this weekend…cold and windy today, but a more pleasant Mother's Day….
Much love to you, dear friend…

I quite like it when the rain arrives on the weekend. Not only does it water the garden for me but it makes me stop and slow down.

I kind of prefer the rain to be when I'm not outside. In the last few days the rain has mostly cooperated along those lines.
