Favorites on Friday from Vignette Design, Read Me, Henhurst Interiors and More

June 2, 2013 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 10 Comments

Good morning! I love posting about my favorite finds on Fridays, sometimes it is hard to narrow it down to just a few posts or finds. I know that many of us read the same blogs so if you already read these posts, sorry.

My favorite Pinterest Pin this week was from Quotes Tree and you can find it on my Wit, Wisdom and Inspiration board along with many other great quotes.

Marsha at Splenderosa introduced a me to a new blog , Read ME. Read Me is written by Louise and each month she reviews ten books, this months post is 10 Great Books that have become Classics. If you enjoy books and excellent reviews then you must check out Read Me.

Veronique at French Girl in Seattle was invited to attend the Seattle International Film Festival, the largest film festival in the United States. So far this week she has critiqued two French films, Haute Cuisine(which I loved and wrote about Here) and Populaire which I have yet to see but have on my list.

Fabulously French posted about the Dior 2013 Ready to Wear collection. The collection was photographed at the Opera Palais Garnier in Paris and I do not know which is more gorgeous the collection or the opera house itself.

Phyllis at Henhurst Interiors featured true American craftsmanship in her post on Vermont Farm Table. If you are searching for heirloom quality farm tables, benches, side tables, Windsor chairs and kitchen utensils than this is your place. If you are not in the market at this time visit the post as well as the link to the store anyway, both are fabulous!

Delores from Vignette Design posted about her new California wine country rentals. There are numerous photos of the two rentals that she has been refurbishing and it looks like a wonderful “home away from home”  if you are thinking of a little vacation to the California wine country. Perhaps a romantic getaway, or a ladies or blogger meet up? For information and rates email Delores directly.

Oh, one more favorite. I made what is my new favorite Chocolate Chocolate Cheesecake, you can find it on  Once Upon A Chocolate Life.

Have a beautiful and safe weekend!

Oh my, that chocolate cheesecake looks delightful. I really like the quote, "Live in such a way." My husband was just talking about going to the opera; these dresses are so pretty.

    Have a nice weekend.
