I am still with my family and loving every minute of it. But I did manage to carve out a few minutes to share my favorites from around the web this week.

If you are a Jane Austen fan, Lauren of Marie Antoinette Queen of France wrote about an exhibition at the Morgan Library. Although it was a couple of years ago, Lauren mentions that all Austen scholars should keep this place in mind while doing research. Although I am not an Austen scholar I would enjoy seeing the letters Jane Austen wrote to friends and family.
Another Austen favorite might be the movie Austenland, based on the book by Shannon Hale. I have read the book and did enjoy it, but I have not yet seen the movie. I fear that I will be disappointed as I often am if I read the book before seeing the movie. Has anyone seen the movie?

The One Kings Lane Blog posted on the art and studio of Nadine Kalachnikoff and it is stunning! The studio features her work and the collection that she and her husband Lars Bolander have amassed over 30 years of marriage.

Tish Jett at A Femme d’un Certain Age mentioned an exhibition going on from now until September in Paris featuring my favorite wardrobe stable… The Little Black Dress. For more information visit the Mona Bismark American Center.

Catherine at Cashmere Lover featured the beautiful fashion illustrations of French artist Aurore de la Morinerie. Aurore has worked for Hermes and Agnes B, to name but a few of her clients, in addition to her other work as a fine artist which focuses on animals and nature. I am a huge fan of her birds.
