Good morning! I am so excited it is Friday because I have guests this week and we have a lot of plans. Before I go off to spend the day at the beach I will leave you with a few of my favorite finds from around the web.

I am always tweaking things around the house, adding subtracting, moving, and creating. Julie at Belle Vivir has put together a great selection of vignettes that may give you a few ideas for your own house.

Providence Design, Ltd posted this week about an interior design project they recently completed. It was six months in the making and the designers had only been in the house once. In addition, the clients had already purchased a few items and painted the house. I found it interesting to see the process at work and to see how the designers worked with the existing furniture and color scheme.
I don’t know about you but I LOVE snail mail. Packages, cards, letter and magazines make my day. I recently discovered this blog, Viva Snail Mail dedicated to you guessed it, snail mail. Melissa hosts workshops for kids dedicated to making mailable art.

For all of my fellow Francophiles, Shannon from The Simply Luxurious Life has added a French Inspired Living section to her blog and it is filled with books, recipes, sights to see in Paris and all things French.

I also discovered a few new blogs this week, Coastal Style and Brunch at Saks and Vicky’s Home. All three are filled to to the brim with beautiful images and inspiration.
Last but not least, The Artists Way by Julia Cameron. Julia Cameron has been around for years but this is something new to me that I am going to begin it this week.

Oh, how I dream the beach or water every night, and I just had a dream I was at this magnificent beach where there was a tidal wave, but it was FUN…and at the end of the dream, I saw my mom, who was smiling brilliantly at me.
