Good morning! I hope that your week has been great. Mine has been busy, busy, busy. I am ready to do nothing except relax and take long naps with my new and old pups.
Life with a 13 year old dog and a 6 month old is crazy to put it mildly. They both have to be carried up and down the stairs all of the time but neither wants to go second. They both like to take long naps but just not at the same time. The 13 year old sleeps through the night, the puppy wakes us up every morning at between 3-4 am and then gets in bed with us until 6:00. This old girl is not, I repeat not and early bird and 6:00 am is killing me!
This week my Friday Favorites are all about relaxing, searching for happiness and good food!

Garlic Knots with Beer Cheese Sauce from the Candid Appetite |
And last but not least, these Garlic Cheese Knots with Beer Cheese Sauce from The Candid Appetite. I may have to make a double batch of these and have them Friday and Saturday!
I hope that you have a wonderful weekend. Relax, enjoy your family and friends, life is short and work can wait!

Thank you Elizabeth for including Styling magazine in your Friday favourites post!
And guess what? This week, we welcomed a new little dog to our family. No one told me, until he walked in the door, I think they all thought I would say no. And I know exactly what you're going through, early… early wake ups and walks around the garden in the pitch black. A few little accidents on the carpet and all my fragile pieces are going up higher on the shelf and I also need to sleep with the fan on as this little puppy is too scared to sleep in another room away from Andrew and I'm just not used to the dog smell yet. Have a happy "and relaxing" weekend, sending hugs, xxx Coty
OK seriously those garlic cheese knots look ridiculous. I am glad I don't know how to make them:) Have a lovely weekend.
Oh, Coty's mag is fabulous. She really knows how to style. AND YOU my dear….get our rest! You have been non-stop for months now! You deserve all the goodness you give out to others. MAKE A PIZZA! Much love, Anita
Hello Elizabeth
It will get better with the puppy. I do not like the 3.00a.m trips outdoors! Brrr.
Hope you have a restful weekend with easy recipes.

Elizabeth, I just returned from staying with my daughter who has an eleven year old rescued greyhound and a 2 year old doxie. Yes they are both on different schedules as well, and both demanded my attention. Thankfully, I was awaken at 4 a.m. only one night. Oh the stories. Have a wonderful weekend. Bonnie
Have to try the blue cheese and onion rolls. Great post, pizza looks great.

I am late on commenting this week, as we are traveling! Enjoy the rest of your weekend, sweet Elizabeth! xoxo
