Good morning! I have been meaning to post about this give away from Sandy at You May Be Wandering that I won but I kept putting it off because I haven’t had the time to sit and read the book, until this weekend.
Way back in the winter I won the book Paris Letters by Janice MacLeod and a letter from Janice’s subscription service on Etsy and I could not be more delighted with both!
If you have ever felt like escaping your life and heading to Paris, I think you might enjoy this book. Paris Letters is a wonderful, light read, perfect for a day at the beach or a plane ride to your summer holiday. It is an adventure about a girl, Janice, who quits her job in LA after saving for a year to travel in Europe. After short stints in Italy and Scotland she lands in Paris and the rest is history as they say because she met a cute butcher and fell in love. Needing a way to fund her life Janice begins to sell her illustrated water color letters on Etsy and within a few months has a 1000 subscribers! I won’t tell you any more about it because I want you to read the book.
My letter from Paris was written from the steps of Saint-Etiene du Mont, the very church steps that Gil from Midnight in Paris sat to wait for the car that transported him to party the nights away with Hemingway, Fitzgerald and Picasso. It is beautifully illustrated and the tale that Janice wove made me feel as if I were actually sitting next to her taking it all in myself.
If you love Paris, and frankly who doesn’t, you can be transported to the streets and adventures of Paris with Janice’s subscription service. You can also follow along with Janice on her blog where she shares her adventures in Paris and around the world.
I hope that you have a great day!

Good morning my friend! I also won a book my Tish Jett on Paris, and maybe that will be coming soon for me! I will be in France next summer with some high school students, and will be most of the time up in the north, but of course, we will end our tour in Paris.
I just read a fantastic book, "The Waiting" by Cathy LaGrow. You just don't want the book to end because it's a true and divine story. Oh how I loved reading it!
Have a great day! Anita

What a beautiful book! My mother-in-law just loves Paris and I can't wait to get this for her. (And one for me too, of course! Isn't that how gift-giving works?) Thanks for sharing and congrats on being the lucky winner! xo, Kristy
