Friday Favorites from The Lettered Cottage, Chinoiserie Chic, Jennifer Rizzo, Six Sisters Stuf and More!

December 7, 2014 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 4 Comments

Good morning! Happy Friday! I don’t know about you but the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas makes me feel a little lazy. I do not want to work: I simply want to bake, wrap presents, and enjoy time with friends and family. It is the most wonderful time of the year after all and I do not want to miss a minute!

I already have my trees up, and my house decorated, all present purchased, wrapped and mailed, except the ones I will deliver in person. The baking has begun and I will be doing that until the 21st, as I have a lot of people to deliver cookies, cakes and candies too and I love it all.

What about you? What is your favorite part of the holidays, aside from the obvious of family and friends. Your tree? Parties? Decor” Baking? A Christmas concert or event?

Image Six Sisters Stuff

Six Sisters Stuff has a great post for a collection of 25 Delicious Christmas Cookies, just in case you are looking for something new to try on your cookie tray.

I realize that Christmas ads have been on the internet and tv for sometime but I just discovered this one from John Lewis(UK company)  and it is my new favorite! CLICK HERE for link.

I hope that you have a fabulous weekend! Don’t forget to put out your stocking tonight if you celebrate The Feast of St. Nicholas. I know that I will be awaiting my stocking on Saturday morning!

You are so organized and focused. My tree will go up tomorrow (maybe) and we will decorate the front entry. Keeping my fingers crossed my tree will stay upright this year! I love baking! Enjoy your weekend…Bonnie
