Good morning! Happy Friday and a happy Super Bowl party weekend. As I said yesterday, the game to me is all about the food and if I manage to step away from the table long enough to watch the tv, the commercials!
Although I will not be having a party I thought I would share my favorite party recipes this week, just in case you are looking for a last minute idea.

These delicious Ham and Cheese Sliders from The Girl Who Ate Everything are so easy to make for a crowd and are one of those party foods that you cannot stop at just one.

Soft Pretzel Bites from The Slow Roasted Italian |
I LOVE pretzel nuggets with mustard and cheese and if you follow me on Instagram you can see that I consume them frequently. I will be making these 30 Minute Pretzel Nuggets from the Slow Roasted Italian this afternoon as a trial run for Sunday. The recipe make 64 nuggets, hopefully I can save a few for my husband.

Artichoke Dip from Yammies Noshery |
If you read my post yesterday than you can seen that I have a fondness for cheesy, creamy, fattening dips. I have a “go to” recipe for Spinach and Artichoke dip that I make often but I thought I would try something different this time, and THE Best Spinach and Artichoke Dip EVER from Yammie’s Noshery seems like it will fit the bill nicely.

Bake Chocolate Fudge from Once Upon A Chocolate Life |
Of course one cannot have or attend a party without a few treats! I prefer mine chocolate and have a ton of recipes and ideas on my other blog, Once Upon A Chocolate Life. I will be whipping up a batch of this Baked Chocolate Fudge as well as a few cereal treats.
Tell me what are your favorite party foods? Are you a pizza, sub-sandwich, barbecue person? Or do you prefer all of the little dips and nibbles? Share your favorite party recipes please!
On a side note, did you know that this week is the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz? Ten years ago, 1500 survivors came to the reunion, this year less than 300. The survivors are dying and soon there will be no one to tell of their experience in the first person. Please do not let this world wide atrocity die off in history. Share this article, 70th Anniversary of Liberation of Auschwitz and any books and history that you know about these horrific atrocities.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the Super Bowl or whatever else that you have planned.

Wow…your posts always make me hungry even early in the morning!! Have a wonderful weekend, Elizabeth!! xoxo
There have been several articles in our newspapers this week following survivors and their families who have revisited Auschwitz. Poignant and haunting, and yes, there will come a point when there are no more living witnesses. Someday I need to see that place for myself. The evil that created it is as evil as evil can be.
The food looks delicious, particularly the chocolate!
Note to self- ONLY visit your blog on a very full stomach. Not sure what I would want to start with, the cheesy dip or the brownies…yes to it all! Have a great weekend.
Elizabeth you have certainly chosen my favorites. Any version of a spinach and artichoke dip is always a hit in my group of friends and family!! Have a great and fun weekend!
xoxo
