Friday Favorites from Martha Steward, No. 2 Pencil, Butter Baking and More

April 5, 2015 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 2 Comments

Good morning! This is a busy weekend for many with today being Good Friday, then Holy Saturday and of course Easter. Sunday It is a time for family and friends to gather and celebrate and that is just what I will be doing. What about you? Will you be together with your family and friends?

If you have still not decided on an Easter dinner menu I have gathered a few of my favorite food finds to give you a little help.

Slow Cooker Ham from The No. 2 Pencil

I typically eat ham once a year and that is at Easter dinner. This Slow Cooker Ham from The No. 2 Pencil looks like the perfect addition to my Easter table.

Scalloped Potatoes from Martha Stewart

I LOVE potatoes and could eat them everyday. These Scalloped Potatoes from Martha Stewart would be a scrumptious side to accompany the ham don’t you think?

If you love your Peeps, and Cadbury eggs than this article from the Inside Scoop SF has some fabulous recipes to use them in, everything from drinks, to cupcakes, to sushi, and more.

Chocolate Hot Cross Buns from Butter Baking

I have always wanted to make hot cross buns but I do not like raisins or candied fruit and I thought those were integral ingredients until I found these Chocolate Chip Hot Cross Buns from Butter Baking. I will be making a double batch of these today! Hopefully I will not eat them all myself.

Panoramic Eggs from Community Table via Pinterest

Remember these? Panoramic eggs? My mom used to make these for our Easter baskets each year. These is still time to make a few of your own, you can find the information Here.

I usually try to include a movie, a book or an interesting article in my Friday Favorites post but I have not read or watched any interesting movies this week. Have you? If so, please share!

I hope that you have a very nice week and I wish you a Happy Easter!
