At this point I already know that I will be a making all of the desserts in this post because my family LOVES dessert and I love to bake them. In addition to the bars, brownies and cheesecakes, there will also be a banana cake which is my sisters favorite and a fabulous chocolate cake because that is my favorite.

Oh my, it all looks delicious! I love everything about the Fourth of July. This year it will be just the two of us….no plans. We will get to be with our daughter and grandson the next weekend. Enjoy the celebrations!
Oh, that CHICKEN! And come to think of it, what was our Mexican-American fare on the fourth…..I know for sure, watermelon with chili powder (yes, sounds crazy!) was always on the picnic table, its juices running between the slats of the worn table at the park. Enjoy your fourth my friend!
All very, very tempting!! Of course you are in charge of dessert; you're such a gifted baker! Have an awesome 4th ahead, Elizabeth
