Summer time, summer time oh how I love summer. The long sunny days, the excuse to be lazy, adventures at the beach and of course fresh fruits and vegetables from the farm stand or farmers market.
Although I do not like to cook on a hot day I do not mind heating up the house to bake and if I can use up some things from the market all the better.
Here are a few of my farmers market finds and “go to” recipes for using them, including Vidalia Onion Tart, Tomatoes and Balsamic Glaze, Strawberries and Fresh Cream Filled Butter Cake, Vanilla Peach Coffee Cake and Raspberry Sweet Tea.

Speaking of summers bounty these fabulous arrangements give new meaning to edible arrangements. Have you ever made arrangements out of vegetables?

I have not but THIS article in New England Home Magazine has inspired me to try a few things the next time I am at the market.
What are your favorite things to eat in the summer? Do you have any great recipes using the fresh fruits and veggies from your area? If so, please share!
Have a great day!
