Friday Favorites from Sophia Home, Toast, Celebrations at Home Blog, Traditional Home, and More

November 7, 2015 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 4 Comments

Good morning! How was your week? Hopefully it was great! Are you ready for the weekend or is that a silly question? Is there ever a time that people are not ready to rest relax and not work?

I am ready for all of the above, just as I always am. I am tired. I started working with a personal trainer this week and I am getting my butt kicked! Thankfully I have two days to rest.

Friendsgiving at Celebrations at Home Blog

What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Will you be with family? Or perhaps friends? If you need a little inspiration for your Friendsgiving Celebration then visit Celebrations at Home Blog

Image Sophia Home

Discovering new blogs is always a treat, Sophia Home is my latest discovery. Located in the English countryside, interior designer Sophia showcases beautiful photos, finds and travel.

I love English country houses and the history behind them. This post on the blog The Art of the Room about St. Giles House is fascinating from the history to the restoration.

Image Traditional Home

It is not too soon to be thinking about Christmas decorating. This week Traditional Home has tartan tips from Scott Mecham Woods.

Image Toast

TOAST is a new to me online store. Have you heard of it?

I am starting to compile a list of my favorite gifts to give for Christmas and these Salted Caramels by Salt & Ayre are a favorite that I think the chocolate lover in your life will like as well.

Watch THIS IKEA COMMERCIALbut get a box of tissue. A great holiday message to everyone, not just parents.

I hope that you found something here that was new to you. If you have found any great books, movies, recipes or more please share!

Have a great weekend!

Good morning Elizabeth! Those salted chocolates are heavenly! It is still rather unseasonably warm here, so the thought of holidays still has not sunk in yet! But I am getting excited as I see photos already of Christmas. Enjoy your weekend!
