Buttermilk Chocolate Cake from Once Upon A Chocolate Life |
Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me. Today is my 49th birthday and oddly I don’t feel almost a half a century old. Exactly, what is that supposed to feel like? Whatever the case on my birthday I like to post about the lessons that I learned in the past year. This year my biggest lessons came from my dog Munchen.
Here are 15 things I learned this year.
I guess it is true, there are lessons to be learned everyday from everyone around us, including our beloved pets.
In honor of my birthday I wanted to announce my new adventure, Dunstan & Moles. You can read all about my artisan leather and bespoke goods at the Dunstan & Moles blog.
Have a great day and BE HAPPY!

HAPPY 49 MY DEAR!!!!!!! Oh, what a glorious day! Live it up as you prepare for the fabulous 50s! I will be getting myself ready in the next few years to enter into the 60s…..oh dear.
Dogs are awesome. Their silent but powerful ways teach us the basics of living that are often forgotten in this crazy, busy world. ENJOY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I love all of these words of wisdom and agree with every single one…bottom line being to not waste a single day on just "getting by" but instead on making it great! Cheers to a happy and healthy birthday as you celebrate this last year "in your 40's".
