Tartan Love, Tartan Parade

Good morning! November is here and with it the chill in the air. To me that means it is time to get out  my favorite tartan or plaid as some call it. I have heard that “tartan” is one of the “in” patterns for 2015. Franky, for me it never goes out of style. I wear it each and every Fall and Winter because it is a classic and my wardrobe is filled with classics.

Personally, I think that you can never go wrong with tartan plaid and here are a few of my favorite looks. As an accent; a pair of gloves, a scarf, a pair of shoes.

Or perhaps a skirt, pants, shirt or dress?

Whatever your style, tartan plaid is a fabulous wardrobe addition and works for everyone. Get out there and enjoy all of the patterns, and combinations I know that I will be.

I wore tartan colours once. I was a groomsman in a Scottish family wedding party, and the groom and the rest of us all wore his clan colours as vests.

This is how I feel tonight, as if I am seeing life This is how I feel tonight, as if I am seeing life through the blur of tears and sorrow. Sunday night my friend of 34 years lost her husband of 36 years, because of Covid he did not get to meet or hold his newborn grandson. Then just an hour ago we received a call that my husbands best friend died of a massive heart attack this morning. Sometimes life just knocks you to your knees and all you can do is pray for the loved ones you’ve lost, cherish their memories and let your time with them sustain you until you meet again. Then you ask God for the strength to get up and move forward. #life #loss #givemestrength #givemestrengthlord #pray
