Friday Favorites from Zsa Zsa Belliagio, This is Glamorous, Goop and More

March 12, 2016 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 10 Comments

Good morning! I hope you had a great week! The weather here has been fabulous, yesterday it was 80 and sunny. I took every opportunity to walk or sit out in the sun and it was heavenly. I found some great things this week that you might like, art, food, style and more.

Colcannon from Whole Food Bellies

St.Patrick’s day is not far off and I have been trying out a few new recipes mostly sweet but I think I will move this  Colcannon from Whole Food Bellies to the top of the list to try. After all you cannot go wrong with a big bowl of buttery, creamy mashed potatoes and gravy.

Bacon Grilled Cheese from Tidy Mom

I love sandwiches, especially for breakfast and this Bacaon Avacado Grilled Cheese from Tidy Mom looks like the perfect way to start the day.

Beautiful post Art Matters from Zsa Zsa Belliagio.

The fabulous former home of icon Katherine Hepburn.

Speaking of icons, this post about the classic style of French icon Ines de la Fressange From This is Glamorous is fabulous.

This is an interesting article about New York’s first supermodel Audrey Munson who posed for more public works than anyone and ended her days in an asylum.

I enjoy reading advice and articles from successful women, this one from Leslie Blodgett founder of bareMinerals is excellent.

I hope that you found some interesting recipes, books, movies and more this week so that you can share with us.

Have a great weekend!

The Daily Mail must have picked up on the show a month earlier on Audrey Munson by the fabulous design podcast 99% Invisible (to find it, google 99percentinvisible and Miss Manhattan). 99% Invisible is really wonderful.
