Good morning! Thursday is September 1st, can you believe it? It seems like it was only yesterday that I was wishing for warm weather and the end to what seems like a long winter and an even longer and rainy spring.
I love Fall for so may reasons but mostly because I am a “nester,” I love when it gets dark early, I love to be home and sit in front of the fire and read and relax for what seems like months. I love pumpkins, apples, crisp mornings, and the holidays.
Every year I make a list of things I want to do in the Fall, more often than not they are the same year after year but sometimes I add of few new things.

Slab Apple Pie |
This year I want to:
1. Pick apples at the orchard.
2. Make my grandmothers slab apple pie
3. Bake something every week with pumpkin!
4. Take a Fall foliage trip.
5. Visit a pumpkin patch for the perfect white pumpkins.
6. Go on a hayride.
7. Attend a college football game.
8. Eat lots of candy corn.
9. Enjoy Fall.
10. Be more grateful.
What is on your Fall wish list? I would love to hear about any trips you will be taking to the orchards, any delicious Fall recipes that you love to make or bake, and what is your favorite way to “nest” and get ready for the long winter?
Have a great day!

1. Actually decorate our apartments we've renovated.
2. Hike more.
3. Visit the quarry where our kitchen's marble is from. Supposed to be beautiful.
4. Go to a déballage (giant antiques fair).
5. See the Pont du Gard. So close yet so far.
All of these sound wonderful.
Good morning Elizabeth! I want to take great photos of the fall foliage, I want to be outside as much as possible on the weekends, and I want to have a GREAT year at school. The rest is to be grateful each day for this wonderful life.
Sounds perfect Anita.
I'm excited for fall along with the crisp weather, football games and tailgating, and sweaters! I think it may have been the fastest summer ever – happy Wednesday!
I like photographing fall colours. Here I've noticed a tree that's already starting to turn.
Hi Elizabeth! I love the Fall. The only thing I have on my bucket list is to take more day trips. Have a great weekend.
I love every single part of both Spring & Fall. And, maybe I'm a nester too because I am most happy at home with coffee and baking going on. Lovely post !!!
I want to make sure that I enjoy some outdoor activities ♥Hugs
