Good morning! Happy Friday to you. I hope that your week went well. Mine was very busy and tiring so I am ready to relax. I am hoping that the weather cools off a bit so I can get out and look for some Fall color, so far I have not seen much here.

I have been eating copious amount of salad lately so tonight I am going to be feasting on my favorite food pizza. What makes it even better is that it is pumpkin pizza from Love Lola. I have a feeling this is going to be one of my new favorites!

I may have to make these Pumpkin apple and caramelized onion quesadilla from Veggie Inspired as well.

I will not be making this scrumptious Apple Pie with Cheddar and Thyme Crust this weekend but it is on my list to make for the holidays. This beautiful pie is from a new blog The Lemon Apron that my sister discovered. The recipes, photos and styling are fabulous.

This post The L.L. Bean Man from Jeanne at Collage of Life is one of my favorites because not only do we we get to hear about how Jeanne met Mr. H but also because Jeanne is a fellow tartan lover and she has conveniently linked all of the fabulous tartan finds from the new season in one place.
This is a great post about how what you spend time reading changes your brain.
One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited is the San Juan Islands in Washington state, this week Celia from After Orange County posted about a fabulous vacation rental on Orcas Island on the same island chain.
Did you find anything interesting this week to share, a book, a movie, a recipe or interesting article? I would love to hear about it so please share.
I hoe you have a great weekend.

I have never seen such a deep purple leaf. Gorgeous! I remember walking through Central Park in fall, when the ginko trees are pure gold, with fallen leaves making pure gold pools on the ground. Magical.
I do not recall pumpkin mania to the level of this year. It's probably a good thing–it's good to eat seasonal foods, and most of us have had pumpkin only in overly sugared pies at Thanksgiving. Maybe it's just time for pumpkin to get its due.

This is truly another spectacular fall here, and I suppose for you too! That cool air that came in yesterday really made my day….summer is over, and that's OK, because it will be back in no time. But now it's time to celebrate the slower life, get cozy with books, eat healthy from the harvest and enjoy.

Hi Elizabeth. I just saw this lovely post! Thank you so much for including my apple pie among such a lovely group of Autumn favourites. I'm really flattered! I hope you do get to make the pie. It's a family favourite (as far as my hubby is concerned, it's the only pie!). Have a fabulous Autumn in Scotland. Love Jen
