Good morning! Happy Cinco de Mayo and Derby weekend. Do you have plans to have a margarita or maybe even two this evening? Or are you saving yourself for juleps on Saturday while watching the Derby?

Do you like margaritas? I do but to be honest I like the slushy fruity ones best, my favorite is strawberry but tonight I think I am going to try this Tropical Pineapple Margarita Slushy from Whole and Heavenly Oven.

I love to experiment with carnitas recipes. No crockpot, but I put it in the oven at a low temperature, which does the same thing.
Homemade tortillas, too. No wonderful Mexican tortillerias around here.
