Good morning! I don’t know about your area but the kids are already heading back to school here. That always signals the end of summer to me even though we have a couple more weeks before Fall officially starts. And a week ago my grocery store had pumpkins and Halloween candy! In August…doesn’t that seem a little early?

I am not ready to let go of summer yet are you? I still want to enjoy my days walking on the beach, with the waves lapping at my feet, looking for shells.
I found some beautiful pillows yesterday that you can use indoors or outdoors. So if your house is not a beach house or your decor is not “beach house chic” you could use them on your deck or porch instead. I personally love the lobster pillow and the sand dollar pillows. The sand dollar pillows remind me of family vacations in Marco Island shelling and looking for sand dollars.

I love the smell of the salt air, the bright blue of the ocean, and the colorful sea glass that you can find if you look carefully. Doesn’t this bright beautiful bowl remind of your sea glass?
I am curious as to what a sea salt candle smells like and white sandy beaches soap as well.

I personally would love to add any of the above paintings by Steve Gianetti to my own collection of water/wave paintings.
Do you love the seaside as much as I do? Do you like to spend hours walking the shoreline listening to the waves or are you the one first in the water swimming and jumping in the waves? Perhaps sitting in the sand with a good book is more your style?
Whatever the case I hope that you enjoy your weekend whether you are at the waters edge or not.
Be safe and have a great one.

The nights are starting to be cooler here now, so summer's in its last stretch.
