Fall Capes, Ponchos and Scarves

September 17, 2017 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 5 Comments

Good morning! It is hot and humid here today I think its going to be 85. We will be walking at the beach and having a BBQ but that has not stopped me from dreaming of the cool, crisp air that is to come.

I am not sure about the weather where you live but we don’t dig out our winter coats very often unless we are going to ski or we have our twice a year snow fall. So for the most part something light is perfect. I personally love the look of a cape, large scarf or poncho.

Here are a few of my favorites and most are plaid which is my other favorites.

What do you wear in the Fall? Is this a look that works for you? Do you prefer the blanket scarf? Poncho? Or a cape?

Have a great Saturday!

I love ponchos and shawls… you see, here in South America it's usual and there are an infinity of wonderful styles.

    Thanks for sharing.

I'm definitely a scarf and coat person – unfortunately I haven't the figure or height for capes, but it doesn't stop me admiring them on others. xxx

i was a poncho girl in the '70s, but my problem now is they tend to wear me. so to look right, i would need to head to the children's section! xox
