A good morning to you. I hope that you had a wonderful weekend. It was beautiful here, the sun was shining, a slight breeze was blowing, it was 78 and it felt like early summer. Today it feels a little more seasonal and it is cold and rainy. Signs of Spring are popping up all over, beautiful pastels of pink, yellow and lavender.

If you would like to add a touch of lavender to your wardrobe I put together a few finds, everything from bags, to sweaters, and even these cute sneakers.
I personally love a touch of lavender in my home in the Spring. I add it to the kitchen with candles, my favorites are here and here. And with soap and lotion from Williams Sonoma.

Art is another way to add a touch of lavender to your home you can use original art like the beautiful piece above that my friend Marian painted or a print if you are only using the art for the season.
Last but not least, a simple lavender plant or even a plant in a lavender container would also be a beautiful addition to your home and bring Spring inside.
Are you a lavender lover? The color, the sent, or the flower, or perhaps all of the above? Do you use lavender in your decor? Or in your garden?
I hope that you have a beautiful day whether the sun is shining or it is a grey day. Life is what we make it, so choose beauty and happiness.

Lovely – so calming – makes me want to visit Provence!
A couple of photobloggers I follow live in the vicinity of lavender fields, so when they're blooming, they're out there photographing.
Lavender is easy to grow–it doesn't require much water, which is important in the south of France. I gather the flowers when they're pruned and make sachets for the armoires. It's such a clean smell, not cloying.
Right now, violets are all over. And I saw the first iris yesterday. Spring is on the way, and shades of purple are part of it.
