Good morning! Happy Friday to you! I hope that you had a great week. I am a little tired today because yesterday our Spanish friends(who are returning to Spain in a few weeks) came over to teach us how to make authentic paella, sangria and other Spanish food. It was a great time but I think I need to fast for the weekend because I ate way too much.

If you are a lavender lover than you might think the only place you can see the lush purple fields is in Provence. Luckily that is not so, you can visit Spain where they are just as beautiful and one of my favorite places the San Juan Islands
If you are traveling to France in August here is a great post about What is On and What is Open in August.

I love this plate. I have this planner. I can’t wait to get this gingham shirt. I am looking forward to my first Fall candle. I think these leopard loafers would be great for the cooler months. And I will be giving these apple & pear salt and pepper shakers as a gif this Christmas.
What did you discover this week? Did you read, listen to, watch or make anything interesting? If so please share with us!
I hope that you have a happy and safe weekend.

You know who loves lavender? Bees! (Our lavender is covered with so many different kinds of bees, from big, fat, yellow-and-black striped ones right out of cartoons to little tiny black ones.) And lavender honey is highly prized. You really can taste the difference in the various kinds of honey.
Feels so much like summer!
The glass sculptures are neat.
The tea beverage looks delightful for hot summer days.
