Lately life has been busy with longs walks at the beach, dipping my toes into the water, but mostly strolling along with my dear friend. Wonderfully long dinners, with old friends and new, eating grilled meats and vegetables and drinking copious amounts of sangria. Mornings are spent at yoga and afternoons soaking up the sun. This summer I am taking a “holiday” from life. I am scaling back on work and social media so that I can enjoy time with my family and friends and of course my pups. I am reading and relaxing. Everything has not been sunny and bright though, this week two friends lost their loved ones, one lost her aunt and the other her father. A blog friend just had a baby and her husband announced he was leaving their marriage. Life, one minute carefree and filled with joy and a breath away filled with sadness. A lesson my friends, life can change in an instant, make sure that you tell your loved ones that you love them and live life to the fullest.

Wishing strength for your friends.
Thank you very much.

A lovely and truthful post Elizabeth. My heart aches for your friends. Hugs!
I feel so bad for the loss of your friends, and of course for you. I appreciate your wise words, I think most feel and try to do their best…but sometimes those losses are forgotten after the pain has eased. Perhaps for every loss we experience, we can push ourselves to give to another person in our lives who needs a friend or some company. I can honestly say I've done this and its so gratifying. And it helps so many who may not have ever asked for help.
Sending love and healing vibes,
Jane
