No Churn Vanilla Bean Ice Cream & Some Fall Finds

Good morning! I hope that you had a great weekend. I had a busy one cleaning closets, and hauling stuff the the thrift store. I also read, relaxed and walked at the beach among other things. It was so hot that I did not bake but I did make the easiest ice cream known to man. Seriously, it has 3 ingredients and you do not even need an ice cream maker, if you have one use it, the ice cream will be a little creamier, if you do not have one it will still be creamy and delicious.

blue willow bowl, gingham napkins, Similar tray

No Churn Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Ingredients

1 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk

2 cups heavy whipping cream

2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract

Place condensed milk, heavy whipping cream and vanilla bean extract in a blender, blend until well combined. Pour the mixture into a plastic lined loaf pan and cover. Freeze for at least 5 hour or until frozen solid.

When ready to serve remove from freeze and let thaw for at least 5 minutes, scoop out desired amount into a bowl or a cone and enjoy!

This ice cream is scrumptious alone but you can also use it to make ice cream sandwiches, top with hot fudge, or make a brownie sundae!

Summer is fast coming to an end so I am trying to cross a few more things off of my bucket list. Have you enjoyed the summer that you wanted? Do you have a favorite recipe for ice cream or just a favorite flavor?

As i have said in the past few weeks I am savoring the present and embracing all that Summer has to offer.  That said I have seen a few  Fall things on one of my favorite online stores, Zulily,  if you are familiar with them then you know the items are only available for a limited time, so I thought I would share a few thins with you before they are gone.

I like all of the farmhouse signs, but this one is my favorite and I love the bright orange velvet pumpkins, here and here.

Have a great day!

I have actually never had no churn ice cream. I haven't had homemade ice cream in at least 20 or so years. Not sure I remember what it tastes like! However sounds like I could do this one.

I have a fondness for cherry cheesecake ice cream, which unfortunately isn't available by container, but only in the odd ice cream parlour here.

I've not made homemade ice cream in years – but may have to try this one!
Meanwhile I'm cooling off thinking about pumpkins, boots and sweaters – longing for Autumn weather.
