The weather here has finally turned and at times it feels like Fall, typically in the early morning and late at night. I have been sleeping with the windows open and I love hearing the birds, and the Canadian geese in the morning. In the late afternoons I still sit on the front porch with a my latest book, or a pile of magazines, the difference is that I am now wearing a sweater and occasionally I have a cashmere throw on my lap. I am making gift lists for the upcoming holidays, lists of things I want to bake to give as gifts, as well as, things to take to my neighbors and send to friends and family. I have been getting up early to take walks with my dogs and then watching the sunrise. It is so peaceful by the waters edge with only the fish jumping and the occasional duck flying by. Then I am off to hot yoga before returning home to start the day relaxed and ready to tackle whatever I have too. We are planning a few trips for 2019 to Spain, Iceland and back to Argentina to see our grandkids. The master bathroom remodel is finished and next week we are getting new French doors to the deck and and 2 rooms painted, a little refresh to the house after 10 years. It’s the “most wonderful time of the year” in my little world and I am slowing down and trying to savor it.
What have you been up to lately? Whatever it is I hope that you have been enjoying it.
Have a great day.

T-shirt for “the most wonderful time of the year.” |
I recently found this candle at TJMAXX and it is earthy, woody and has a hint of sweetness. A great candle if you do not like cloying, floral scents.
I think I may need these dachshund slippers from Land’s End.

Sounds wonderful and you have shared some fun finds!
Fall has settled in here, and the temperatures are such that you pretty much need a coat on each day now.
I can't believe October is nearly over!
