Good morning! I mentioned yesterday that although I love Fall I do not decorate too much. I try to stay with neutral and natural elements like white pumpkins, feathers, wood, cotton and of course dried seed pods.
The dried okra and cotton comes from my farmers market. The okra is filled with little seeds and it like a natural noise maker.
The feathers and porcupine quills my husband brought back from Africa. I actually keep them out all year because I love the texture and they work with our decor.
Wood is a favorite decorating element in my house, hand turned bowls and vases, coasters and any other interesting wood I discover.
Found antlers offer a little texture and sculpture especially when piled into a huge silver bowl.
Do you use or like natural and found elements in your decor? I love using these natural elements because I only have to decorate once before the Christmas holidays. The pumpkins, antlers, and wood work well for both Halloween and Thanksgiving.
Have a great day!
