Good morning and Happy Labor day! I hope that you weekend has been great. I am sure for many along the coast it has been agonizing waiting and preparing. I have friends that evacuated from Florida and are twiddling their thumbs while the storm s-l-o-w-l-y makes its way to whatever its destination will be. Here is has been hot, and sunny, today it is ugly and gray. I am fine with that because it will get me in the mindset of getting my stuff ready for the week and not frolicking at the beach.

I have been perusing the sales the last few days and I found 10 classic wardrobe pieces that you might want to add to your closet.

A Barbour Waxed coat is something you will have forever! I have several and have worn them around the world, hiking in Scotland, walking the trails at Glacier National Park and in my own back yard.

OMG Elizabeth – now you actually are showing a herringbone jacket (see my previous comment) and it's a beauty. Still going to search for a knit one though – it would be better and perhaps lighter to pack/wear for travel. I have a big overseas trip coming up so must away to check the weather as I've no idea as to what to wear.
Dorian is causing me concern – sitting here with crossed fingers for my area, plus sending prayers to those who are already suffering damage in the islands!
I looked at a lot of the sales online, but naturally I was looking for something to dress my apartment rather than my body!
