Good morning! Is it just me or does this four day week seem as if it lasting forever? I feel as if I am moving in slow motion and all I want to do is take a nap. Maybe it is the change in the seasons, weather? Who knows, what I do know is that I cannot wait for the weekend.
My mind is already firmly planted in Fall, even though it does not officially start for a couple more weeks, and I have started to bake a few of the things I have been pinning since last year. The first thing I made was this delicious Pumpkin Cranberry Walnut Yeast bread from Seasons & Suppers Let me clarify by saying this is not a “quick” bread and it is not a sweet treat, it is a yeast bread that is perfect right from the oven with butter, toasted for breakfast or even with a bowl of soup. It has a hint of the flavors of Fall but is not over the top. Each recipe makes 2 small loaves or one large one. I made the 2 smaller loaves and then I froze one for later.
If you would like to make this bread you can find the recipe at Seasons & Suppers.
If you are not ready for anything pumpkin flavored or related to Fall because you are going to eeek out every second of summer, you might like this Chocolate Bourbon Brownie Ice Cream with Fudge Swirls.
Have a great day!

These sound good!
Thanks for the book recommendations. I'm ready to turn up the AC (since summer won't end) and pretend it is fall curled up in a blanket reading!
