Good morning! Although I already have my trees up and my house decorated for Christmas I am still enjoying Fall and the lead up to Thanksgiving. I am looking forward to trying some new recipes and enjoying old family favorites.

My tablescape last year. |
This week I am looking for inspiration for our Thanksgiving table. After searching Pinterest I have narrowed my favorites down to 10 which all include natural elements including pumpkins, fruit, pine cones and even a little plaid.

Simple is sometimes easier and better. Add a pumpkin to a bed of greens and you have a beautiful and easy tablescape.
I hope that you find a little inspiration here to create a beautiful table to celebrate a wonderful day wit your family and friends.
Have a great day!

I have a question…I have always put candles on my Thanksgiving table, even though we usually have our meal around 2:00 in the afternoon. In the last few days, I have read in several places that it is not proper to have candles at a meal unless it is night time, or at the least almost dark outside. Thoughts?
That is an interesting question and one that I have never given much thought. Here is an article that talks about candle etiquette. https://www.southernliving.com/entertaining/candle-centerpieces-etiquette Personally, I say life is too short not to enjoy it, if you like candles at 2:00 then light them. I have a candle lit all day at my house.
Good suggestions!
Well all I can say is that I love your taste in tablesettings Elizabeth. I don't think I could choose a favorite. Are you hosting a dinner this year? I was so happy to be able to meet your sister over the phone. Although hopefully next time it will be under better circumstances. I like to believe that one day we will all meet in person. Sending love through this screen.
