Good morning! I hope that you had a great weekend and Christmas as well. Over the last few weeks I have made 20 gallons of caramel corn, 5 pounds of chocolate almond dragees, 5 gallons of cranberry liqueur, 3 pounds of Christmas granola, hundreds of cookies, marshmallows, candy and more. We’ve been to Colonial Williamsburg and Pinehurst, NC to enjoy the decorations, the lights and just to relax. We’ve celebrated Christmas, opened countless presents, consumed delicious meals and treats. And we have been blessed to spend time with family and friends. It has been a little hectic at times but I have loved every minute of “the most wonderful time of the year” and I am sad to see it end. I am however looking forward to getting back to my routine and am looking forward to all the adventures the new year has in store.
What have you been up to? Did you enjoy the holidays? Did you travel? Visit family and friends? Or did you relax and enjoy time at home?
I know that the holidays are a challenge for many and I am sorry of my post(s) were bothersome to you.
I hope the new year brings you good health, happiness, adventures and whatever else you dream.
Have a great day!

As usual, stayed at home with the pets. Did what I always do. That is how I prefer it. Growing up we didn't celebrate and I'm now following that tradition!

So happy that your holidays were so special – you certainly stayed extremely busy, and you weren't far away from here when you were in NC at charming Pinehurst! Perhaps you are golfers?
We didn't travel at all this Christmas other than the early trips to the NC coast and mountains between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We've already removed outdoor holiday decor as today we have a crew removing a dead tree and doing major pruning on several others – never a dull moment!!!
New Year's Day we'll 'take down' Christmas indoors then start on cleaning out and downsizing, hopefully. . . . . . husband is so bad about getting rid of stuff!
Lots of home projects lined up for the coming months – 2020 looks like a busy year around here, and of course there will be travel later!
Happy New Year to you and your family Elizabeth. BTW – Your post are never 'bothersome' always positive, interesting and fun. Please keep them coming.

I'll be travelling after New Year's. Christmas is something I got through, as opposed to something I celebrated. At least it's done and over with.
Happy New Year to you.
