Good Monday morning to you! How is everyone doing? Are you ready to settle in for the next month? I’ve been prepared to do that since I started to self isolate 2 weeks ago. I am getting into my “new” routine and I also taking things one day at a time.
I am s-l-o-w-l-y learning to let go of things I cannot control and right not that seems to be everything. In 30 days I am hoping to get a lot better at it, after all they say after 21 days you can create a new habit. It is definitely going to be a challenge because I am a worrier, and I mull over everything, every scenario, possibility and then for good measure I try to figure out what every other person involved in the situation may or may not do as well. It drives my husband crazy and me for that matter.
This weekend I baked all weekend, a lemon loaf, 2 chocolate pound cakes and 2 batches of Ina Garten’s Outrageous brownies., today all of them will be packaged up and sent or given to neighbors or family to give them a little boost this week. Click the links if you would like the recipes that I used.
My “new life” is not too much different from the old except I don’t leave the house unless I am out for fresh air and walks. I am sticking as closely as possible to my routine and that helps a lot.
My classes are going great and this week I am doing a few live online groups as well.
What are you doing to keep busy? What are you doing to curb your anxiety? These are obviously uncertain times and things are changing day by day so be good to yourself and do whatever you have to to relax. Stay connected with family and friends to keep your spirits up and remember we will get through this. In the meantime look for the good and there is a lot of it amongst the sadness.
If you are lonely or need a friend send me an email.
Have a good day, stay safe, WASH YOUR HANDS AND DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE.

Good Morning -feel like reading your posts has become like chatting with an old friend…please continue to blog… know it brings a smile to many (me included).
Hi Nancy, thank you for visiting. It does feel like visiting an old friend doesn't it. I feel the same way when I am writing. It is funny but I haven't shared too much of my personal life over the last 10 years but lately this blog is an outlet for things.
Have a great day and stay safe.
I never went out all that much anyway. So it isn't hitting me that hard. I'm working on my patio garden primarily.
Brenda
I just looked at your garden Brenda, it looks fabulous already!
Thank you Ria. I am happy that you have LEaf. Stay safe.
Loved this Elizabeth…I am doing much of the same…I find baking therapeutic…and when the weather is nice, sitting outdoors works wonders for the spirit!
