Good morning! Sunday President Trump announced that we should all practice social distancing until April 30th, although expected, the thought of sheltering in place for another 30 days is sometimes tough to take in.
By nature I am an optimist and I am making it my mission for the next 30 days to do what I can to help anyone and everyone who might have a problem with staying home and sheltering in place. I am not sure exactly how but I thinking maybe that each day I will share something with you and ask you to do the same.
Today I would love to know: Where is your favorite place in the world to visit? Are you a lover of museums and culture or do you prefer to spend your time sunning on the beach? Do you like to hike in the mountains or walk in the city?
Although I have spent a lot of time in Paris in my lifetime and it is indeed one of my favorite places to visit I have to tell you that my all time favorite place and one of the most beautiful places I have ever been is Scotland.
In fact the first time I visited I actually got a warm fuzzy feeling and I felt like I was home. It sounds strange but it is true and I have felt it every time I have returned. I love the people, the vistas, the hiking, the castles, and more.
Take minute today and think of all of the places you have ever been, including your own hometown, and tell us your favorite place to visit or to be and what you like to do there.
Have a great day, stay inside, wash your hands and stay safe. I am looking forward to reading all about your favorite places.

I too love Scotland and have visited twice. The people there were so nice and the area was beautiful. Loved LochNess – the loch, Nessie, just all of it. And although I do like the mountains and hiking, I think that I love the lava beaches and little coves on Oahu. (I don't sun bathe or swim, but the air is so clean and the water so blue, its perfect)

I do love everything about the U.K., the place that I have lived all my life and also many places around the world. It’s very hard to pick just one place. Today, I will choose Venice. The moment I stepped off the train and saw the Grand Canal my mouth fell open for at least a whole minute ! Love Scotland, many parts of England …. I could go on and on and on ! XXXX

I wasn't able to get here yesterday dear. It was a very sad day as our dear next door neighbor succumbed to the awful COPD she had been fighting for a couple of years.
Standing in our garden, distanced and unable to hug her family (our friends) as the hearse drove away, was so hard.
Hard to pick one special place – favorite city Budapest – continent Antarctica – and of course my UK hometown.
Stay safe. Mary x

Thank you for your generous and loving spirit! Reading about Scotland makes me want to visit! I have only been to Paris once and fell in love with everything about it. Even the window boxes from every building filled with red geraniums! I dream of returning one day. San Diego is also a favorite,Coronado Beach and the Hotel Coronado. So magical and beautiful! I could go there any time and be thrilled. Love you quote and recipes, thank you again!

I just LOVE you! Always positive and sending out good vibes. I just wrote a post about vacationing in the USA for the next year. Our businesses will need this so very much. I love Yosemite National Park, all of the Pacific NW, and could go back every single year. My best love, of course, is Sorrento, Italy but for the near future I think we all need to BUY USA, TRAVEL USA & be grateful for what we've always taken for granted. I know one thing: I will NEVER buy anything made in China again. Not ever ! With that thought, Walmart might close LOL. But, you understand, I'm sure. Even if we pay a bit more we must BUY MADE IN AMERICA. SENDING LOVE, my darling friend…
