Good morning friends! It is a gloomy day here the weather is dark an ominous, thankfully it is just a little rain coming and not a Tropical storm.
I am sitting in bed as I do most Saturday mornings with a cup of hot chocolate, a pile of books and my computer. I love reading in bed and enjoying all the blogs I did not get a chance to read during the week.
I also like to peruse the sales, here a re a few things I found this morning!
Love this toile dress from Talbots!
And this one too!
Another toile dress, this one from Brooks Brothers.
Add a touch of color and flowers to your summer wardrobe with Superga and Love Shack Fancy.
Any one of these melamine plates and platters from William Sonoma would be a beautiful addition to your outdoor summer dining.
I hope that you have a joyful, safe weekend.

Just a warning – I placed at order at Talbots.com on Thursday (after receiving their new catalog in the mail) but on Friday morning I got an email message from them saying they don't know when they will able to ship my order. I'm thinking it is not coming soon. They really need to tell people this before they order.

Hi Elizabeth – hope your weekend goes well. Doing OK here but still under night time curfew – not that we need to go anywhere after dark! Planning to grill veggie burgers later, and pop of bottle of chilled rosé, to enjoy in the gazebo. . . . on pretty dishes.
What is pup's name – such a sweetie in that beautiful blue chair!
I'm not buying anything in the clothing/footwear line right now – although I would like a pair of tan flat/comfy sandals, and perhaps a new pair of linen
wide crop pants. 'Going shopping' online is not a favorite, I like to see, feel textured fabrics, try on – yes think I'm going to go crazy once I can feel comfortable 'going shopping' in the old fashioned way, haha!
Take care dear friend – sending sunshine from NC.

Hi Elizabeth! Thanks for popping in. I thought I had left a comment after your last one to me, but I got lost in your instagram instead I guess. I enjoyed reading your thoughts in recent posts. I remember our old days of blogging when there was so much visiting around. Feels like a bit of a resurgence. Thanks for the bit of cheer! J.
