Good morning friends! I hit the ground running when I arrived home and this weekend is going to be very busy as well. This week more landscaping was torn out, the yard was aerated, seeded and fertilized. We are still waiting on the skirting for the deck, the fire pit and the stain, all are backordered because of Covid-19. Although it is frustrating it is what it is, frankly we aren’t going anywhere so it is not a huge inconvenience.

I have lots of fall comfort food, halloween desserts, books, articles and more to share with you this week. I hope that you find something that you enjoy.

I cannot wait to make this Italian Wedding Soup from Aberdeen Kitchen.

I love slow cooked pasta sauces and this Rich and Tender Pork Ragu Pasta from Kitchen Sanctuary looks so delicious I think I could eat the entire pot!

Chocolate Mummy Cake is an easy and fun Halloween cake to make with the kids or grandkids. Now that we are spending more time at home it might be fun to make cake and bake with the kids for Halloween.

I already think I make the best sugar cookies but I am open to trying new things so I will be making these Easy Cut Out Sugar Cookies from Brown Eyed Baker.

Halloween Chocolate Pumpkin Cupcakes are another easy Halloween dessert to make with kids, and grandkids. What could be better to a child than cupcakes, frosting, sprinkles or colored sugar and tootsie rolls for stems!
