Good morning friends, it is the start of a three day weekend, although to be honest during these
past few months I have been slacking a little on Fridays to give myself a few three days weekends.
This weekend though is special because it is the “unofficial end of summer”, the last bbq party for many and a time to relax before we start to get ready for a long winter. And the Kentucky Derby is Saturday! If you need a few party ideas click here.
Food
I’m from Wisconsin and I love Butter Burgers but I have never made my own, I think I will try this butter burger from The Cookie Rookie this weekend,
For the vegetarian at the bbq, Quinoa Burgers from Half Baked Harvest.
I use my Air Fryer at least once a day, typically to make sweet potato fries but this weekend I am going to try this french fry recipe from The Pickled Plum.
You cannot have a celebration without dessert, Chocolate Pretzel Magic Bars are easy and delicious!
Or you could make these Raspberry Almond Bars, no raspberries, add blueberries or apples.

I like these plates and think they would be a great addition to my Fall table.
As would these napkins.
This table runner would work from now until Thanksgiving.
