Pottery Barn is always one of my favorite places to shop for Christmas decor and this year is no exception. I am in love with the colorful and whimsical Christmas in the City collection.
Good morning my friends! I hope that you are reading this post snuggled in your bed or on the couch with a delicious cup of coffee or hot chocolate. I cannot believe that parts of the country are in the teens, 17 degrees in Montana! My family in the Midwest is expecting snow today, yikes, it seems a little early for that. And a friend in Minnesota posted a bunch of beautiful photos of the fist snowfall on Instagram. Here is is about 75 and sunny and not really “Christmas weather” my mind keeps wandering there.
In fact it was spurred into action this week when on my morning walk I came upon a house in my neighborhood completely decked out for Christmas! Although I do not know the family, I do know that they have 5 kids under 7, who are all being homeschooled(except the baby of course) so perhaps they need a little break and something to look forward too. I know that I would, I do not think I have the patience for that, my three dogs are running me ragged lately, especially Patches!
I have boxes of Christmas stuff, and every year I rotate different things in and out, and each year I add a couple of new pieces. I got this habit from my mom, she LOVES Christmas and in fact has a huge closet dedicated to Christmas. That closet spilled out into my brother’s room which is now always decorated for Christmas.
This morning I am going to share a few of the Christmas in the City pieces with you, just in case you find yourself itching for a little Christmas. The collection was inspired by an original painting and it reminds me of Christmas in Europe.
I think the sheets would be so cute in a kids bedroom. You could add the guest towels to your guest bathroom or the kids bathroom.
I ordered these mugs to give as a gift. They seem like the perfect size for a cosy cup of cocoa or even soup.
Don’t forget coasters! These would make a great gift as well with a set of glasses! Or just order the entertainment set!
Breakfast, lunch or dinner would be more fun with these placemats. There are also tea towels for the kitchen and pillows for the family room.
And last but not least the cutest doormat!
If the Christmas in the City decorations is not your style Pottery Barn has a lot of other beautiful pieces to add to your collection.
Have a great weekend friends, stay safe, warm and cosy.
