Good morning friends, another Friday is upon us and that mean that we are getting closer to “the best time of the year”, the holidays, which for me is all about decorating and baking! I cannot wait. This year I decided that instead of sending treats at Christmas I am going to be baking and sending “treat boxes” during the month of November the month of thanks. I want to “thank” my family and friends for being a part of my life and making it so wonderful. Anyway, more on that later!
Here is what I found to share with you this week.

In eighteenth-century England the aristocracy dominated the imagination, their exploits — and misdeeds — discussed, debated, and gossiped about in the salons and parlors of London. Now author Martin Levy vividly re-creates one of the most shocking and scandalous events of the period, in a riveting true tale of passion, obsession, murder, and courtroom drama.
From an acclaimed social and architectural historian, the tumultuous, scandalous, glitzy, and glamorous history of English country houses and high society during the interwar period.
From the Academy Award®–winning actor, an unconventional memoir filled with raucous stories, outlaw wisdom, and lessons learned the hard way about living with greater satisfaction.
“Kate Maloy’s remarkable heroine [is] a woman so passionate, so intelligent, and so full of life that most readers will quickly forget that she happens to be in her seventies. This is a wonderful debut.” —Margot Livesey, author of The Missing World.
