Good morning friends, it’s Friday and it is also Valentine’s day weekend. Yet another holiday that is going to be d-i-f-f-e-r-e-n-t this year, and you know what, different is not always a bad thing. For many Valentine’s day is a day to get dressed up and go out for a romantic dinner, that might not be possible but you could always dress up, get out your china and crystal and cater dinner in and celebrate. For those who have been spending more time together than they are used too you could give them the day off, send your loved one to the spa, or better yet you could both go and have a message or a facial. This year more than ever it is important to show your love for your partner, family and friends; it has been a long, rough year for all of us and it is always nice to know that you are loved and appreciated.
I have lots to share with you today, so why not get your coffee, tea, hot chocolate or perhaps a glass of wine and sit down and enjoy the recipes, articles, book suggestions and more that I have found this week.

So many great ideas that I’m filing away for next year. We tend to stay home on Valentine’s Day anyway … let the young, and newly in love score those valuable restaurant rezzies. I didn’t know about Laduree. Oh my. Well, I hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day and your hubs enjoyed his waffles! xo
