Happy Spring!

Good afternoon friends and a happy Spring to you! Although the sun is shining and there are buds on the trees it doesn’t really feel like spring here, it is cold. I have to keep reminding myself that it is only March,  we were spoiled this winter with very mild weather and in fact over the last few weeks have had days in the high 60’s.

We were going to do some work in the yard this afternoon but it is too cold so I am inside snug as a bug in a rug baking some bread and reading a book. I finished all of my “chores” for the day, I like to clean the house from top to bottom on Friday afternoon so that it is spick and span when I wake up on Saturday, that way the weekend is ours do play or work as we please.

A book a bunny and a cup of cocoa on a tray that says happy spring

I have been perusing a few of the weekend sales and although I see a lot of things I like, especially at Anthropologie I have to be honest, I just don’t feel like I need to buy anything because I have no where to wear it. But I am bookmarking a few cute dresses so that once the weather is warmer I can pick a few up.

If you missed it don’t forget to check out my Friday Favorites post, where I shared a lot of interesting articles, books and recipes!

Tina, the best past is that you can use inexpensive products to create a look to match you house. Have a great day.

I’m also anxious to get out in the yard but the weather isn’t great yet. I love the idea of cleaning on Friday. I might have to change my cleaning schedule. How nice to go into the weekend with a clean house.

My first day of spring was playing pickleball with friends and having my son over for dinner and 2 long walks with the pups in the woods. So funny about nowhere to wear your clothes. I’ve saved so much on clothes in the past year for the same reason. With things opening back up, I may need to step up my game again! Going to go check out your eggs. Happy Spring!
