Easter Blessings to you and your family dear Elizabeth.
A stunning morning here – sun came up and backlit the bursting Hickory buds outside the bedroom window – and the world seemed almost normal for a few minutes. I walked down to pick up the newspaper for Bob and really felt Spring in the clear, brilliant air. The grass is thick and lush and I had fond memories of the Easter egg hunts we used to do for the children and then grandchildren on April mornings such as this, all seems so long ago now!
Hoping to eat out in the gazebo today as it will reach 72F – just the two of us! We worked in the garden yesterday planting more azaleas, also another hydrangea (our first ‘Penny Mac’) in back. . . . . all our others are in the front garden.
So life goes on – and we, like you, are grateful for all we have during these difficult times. Hope the doggies are good. Stay well dear friend – and have a lovely day.

Mary, Easter blessings to you as well. It sounds like a beautiful morning to wake up to on Easter. I am sorry that you will not be able to be with your children and grandchildren, that is the hardest part of all of this. I am sure that you will have a beautiful dinner in your gazebo with Bob and hopefully Zoom with your family. Happy Easter. xElizabeth
